After performing an upgrade from 2007 to 2010, we get the following errors in Health Analyzer:

Missing server side dependencies:

[MissingWebPart] WebPart class [901c564d-e5f7-da61-a967-f2c361ded89a] is referenced [x] times in the database [xxx].

An all instances of Tag Cloud web part throws and error (not found). We have installed the 2010 version of the Tag Cloud web part and can manually insert this on pages, but apparently the 2007 and 2010 versions are not compatible.

How can this issue be solved? - any inputs will be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Thomas N. Sørensen

Hi,

Do you have SP1 for SharePoint 2010 installed?

I did some research and seems like SharePoint has a hotfix for the issue.

SP1 for SharePoint 2010 is installed.

Have the tag cloud webpart been given a new ID from 2007 to 2010 version? - or could it be related to upgrading using trial versions of the 2010 webparts?

We haven't purchased the 2010 versions yet, as we would like to test that the upgrade actually works before doing so.

Hi,

This GUID id does not belong Tag Cloud Web Part.  In SharePoint 2007 Tag Cloud web part does not have any GUID ID and it seems was generated by SharePoint.

We will do some more reasearch but it seems some SharePoint issue.

I'm also upgrading and was confronted with a great number of pages that contain the Kwizcom tag cloud webpart.
I though I deleted the webpart on those pages, but it was either closed or hiding at the bottom of the page.

As the GUID is 901c564d-e5f7-da61-a967-f2c361ded89a I can say wit reasonable certainty that it does concern the Kwizcom tagging feature for SP2007 and that on the pages concerned the Tag cloud is (soon was) present.

I agree with the other posts in here. It appears 901c564d-e5f7-da61-a967-f2c361ded89a is the web part Id for the Tag Cloud web part.

We have run a report to see what pages this web part is contained within and every WikiPlus site contains it.

Has anyone found a fix for this yet?

This is a general question for everyone getting the same error. Have you run the wikiplusupgrade tool on every wikiplus site? The tag cloud webpart should only be located on the home page for every wikiplus site. Unless the webpart was manually added to other pages.

Cheers,
Kevin

We have been seeing these same symptoms after a content database upgrade and running WikiPlusUpgrade.  What we have found is the following:

1) Initially, the Tag Cloud web part is listed in Miscellaneous but there is not Kwizcom group in the web part gallery.  Adding this web part to the page still results in an error

2) Reactivating the "Kwizcom Tagging Feature" at the site collection level creates the Kwizcom group

3) We are then able to add the Tag Cloud web part to the page and it renders.

We dont' have a huge number of wikis so we could manually make these fixes but it would be nice if the WikiPlusUpgrade tool could correct these.
